| I was very worried to see some of the comments made on this movie. It is said that "the killing and gratuitous violence is not explicit scenes or realistic! Were quite explicit and realistic enough that I almost left the film. It has to be understood why Canadians do not support this film. The victims in this Karla Thriller movie the children were victims of a small, quiet calm "community, and were the children of this community. Imagine if this happened to her son next door neighbors, or your child, then someone wants to make a DVD movie Karla about him! You are angry! I lived in Welland, Ontario, when they were on the loose. He was 12 years, and my parents were paranoid nervous wrecks until these people were arrested. The day they were arrested, we did not have any classes, we parked in front of the TV to watch the news, so it would have peace of mind that they were wrong Sicko the street, and we are of them. That terrorized communities, even those who have no knowledge of them were close enough for us, it was quite possible that one of the victims could have been one of my friends were simply too close to us. So when they complain that this DivX film Karla was not real enough, or sufficiently explicit, just remember, is not just a movie, is real life! And what you see in the DivX Movie Karla is not even half of all the horrible things that really did it. |
| I usually do not write reviews of movies, but I feel compelled to air my views on this movie. This DivX film Karla was boycotted by most Canadians and only played in some theaters in the province, out of respect for the families Mahoffy and French. As an irresponsible that Canada had the morbid curiosity of seeing this film, I was appalled, not only for the graphic content, but more importantly, the inaccuracies in this entire movie. This DVD movie Karla portrays as victims of Karla Holmolka a housewife, the subject of spousal abuse in her chronic Paul Bernardo. However, left many important facts with an example how they killed her sister (cutting the tendons of his ankle so that she can not escape) so that her husband to rape repeatedly to her sister, and she laughed with her husband. This was all documented in court transcripts and video that was recorded during the killings that the DivX Movie Karla was not recognized. Karla was not a victim of these horrific murders and was much more than a participant then portrayed, so please understand that if you choose to see this movie. |
| I did like the action because I believe that Laura Prepon was an opportunity to leave her "Donna" person Misha Collins and I think that is good too. Both are young players and gave a good performance both in appearance as the perfect couple and cold people were representing. I do not blame the people of Canada to be upset. I do not know much about the system of Justice in Canada, but I can say this, they are doing something right, because you have fewer social problems than the U.S. and I think they are more proactive with its judicial system as a result of having true rehabilitation, instead of seeking rehabilitation. I have always thought that making a Karla movie or TV show without permission from the families of the victims is a mistake unless there is a great lesson that people need to learn. Many parents give permission to the TV to warn children and parents of the dangers of somethings, but making a Karla Thriller film about real events, without consent is terrible. Canadians seem quieter we are in the U.S. Hollywood Karla film and had no right to do so without permission from the victims. Some stories should be told, because we, as citizens of this world should learn from them. However, I have trouble seeing what good can come of this story, with the exception of the performance of Laura Karla as not being a victim as she said it was. There were people who could go. I really just wanted to see how Laura would be with this character, I felt terrible for the families. |
