| One I counted. Is the line on how the team is doing a terrible job of stabilizing Jackie Moon in the neck when he carried off the court. Laughter. Not even a great laugh. A little laughter. If a film: Semi-Pro was six seconds long, and had been the only line, it would have been a great success. It is almost impossible to make a Semi-Pro Sport movie of this unfunny, even if only one person involved in creating material, whether an actor, a writer, any person is seeking. But nobody was working, everybody just wanted his paycheck. I hope that the cast spent on liquor and drugs enough to bury the guilt of having sold their souls. I hate this movie. I hate those people who made the steam pile and put it in theaters, and was released on DVD, and sold it to people. Shows real contempt for the audience. And I will tell you that the feeling mutual. |
| Semi Pro is half right. It starts very well. We are introduced with great success Jackie Moon's "Love Me Sexy" and know that his team, The Flint Tropics team that is not good and Moon spent their money for the team really love basketball. The first half is great because it applies a formula Will Ferrel - have a very basic plot for the Will Ferrel and co to show their antics with very little attention to the plot. Let's see their antics Ferrel screen after all. The best example of this is when Jackie Moon and some of his friends are playing a poker game. It has some of the fun ad libbed dialogue Ferrel are known for the films and is one of the scenes that have been known outtakes on the DVD. The film: Semi-Pro is not its plot. In a Will Ferrel movie, Ferrel should be the focus of attention, but as the plot progresses, it appears that the move to honor Woody Harrleson that is good in his role, but does not provide the necessary mood of the DVD film Semi-Pro needs. Meanwhile, Ferrel left very little to do with the exception of some of the crazy bits Ferrel fight a bear. Just as the Semi-Pro film progresses, it is a normal basketball sense of the film, when the computer tries to label rag in his hand to succeed. In all this, the mood seems to be dissipating, Ferrel and the team seems to be lack of gas. Really a pity, because the promotional materials for this DVD movie Semi-Pro are hilarious. |
| Never for a moment believe that this film: Semi-Pro would be the ground-breaking or mind-blowing. I expected to be along the lines of "Talladega Nights" and "Kicking and screaming," and it was. There were some moments of laugh out loud, and a few fun runs smoothly, and there are parts that were not only funny at all. But the experience was not so bad, considering I was looking for a film: Semi-Pro that makes me laugh and spend the night at the date of those rare nights with my wife. The only complaint he had about him was the language. I thought that some of the profanity was a bit excessive, especially considering past Will Ferrell movies. And that is really the R rating is. |
| One of the pleasures of being a college student is invited to free sneak previews. I went to last night, where half of the front of the theater was packed with students, while the back was filled with members of the drafting team, taking care that the notes did not joke and laugh at. For the most part, the reaction was positive, and jokes that failed miserably probably get edited by the time the DVD movie Semi-Pro opens officially. The Semi-Pro movie was quite sports comedy formula, with the down and out lovable losers get a great opportunity, and then introduce a new character who inspires them, and some montages later, the grand finale. The R-rating was used mainly in the addition of large numbers of words to talk, with mixed results humorous. There was a very funny joke about masturbation. I expected a little more basketball crazy, but good. The highlight, of course, was the reunion Will Ferrel 70. I myself was not alive in the 70s, so we only know about the culture through the lens of disco-funk of cartoon movies. Ferrel is a coward Mofo so successful. I would say that this was one of his best efforts, overcoming Taladega night, Elf, and an ice skating. Is not as good as a presenter, mainly because they simply do not quotable. In short, if you like Will Ferrel, funk or 70 (the soundtrack is hella drugs), see this movie. |
| This Semi-Pro movie is a perfect example of why Ferrel was to find its purpose before it rapidly becomes irrelevant. After sitting through this film, I began to reflect on why we did not like it. Ferrel had all the-isms of the previous films. Ron Burgundy, Chad Michael Michaels, Ricky Bobby, and so made an appearance. So why was not a classic formula so miserably here? So hit me. Will Ferrel is because they can not carry a Semi-Pro Sport movie on their own. It is a great catalyst for action in a film, however, can not be a movie. True, Ron Burgundy was a fun, but what about news of his crew? How many lines are quoted from this quartet of idiots? Or Chad Michael Michaels? Ferrel is needed to recall its strength is a solid body comical. Although it has shown some real acting talent, it still will not be able to make a Semi-Pro Sport on its own. |
| This Semi-Pro Sport movie is based on a simple fact: you or you will not only enjoy Ferrel? If yes, then you will enjoy this much. Because there is not much new here by: Ferell is like an idiot, self-loving, strong and beef head, dim-resourceful professional ... insert obscure profession or athlete. This is just "presenter", "Ricky Bobby," "Blades of Glory", or whatever, except in basketball. If you love movies, and Will Ferrel's shameless slapstick (I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying that I see him try something else now and then), then here's one for you. But I also give prestige to the players (such as Woody Harrelson, who in a brilliant coup, acts as if a real tragedy and not a parody), the soundtrack of'70s inspiration and references. 6 / 10 |
