A large number of movies that are painful in their bland mainstreaminess. And very few people manage to pull off, and still is fun for almost everyone, over a period of several years. John Cleese this vehicle from the mid-1980s get fit into the second category - which is simply a very well-prepared traditional comedy, it is impossible not to be touched. Here we see very Cleese as Basil Fawlty, as a candidate for head teachers and those things just do not run smoothly when it really matters. Other elements of the classic British farce are there - the big misunderstanding, people who get naked, well-intentioned the elderly who say the wrong things at the wrong time and, of course, Geoffrey Palmer as an honest man. And just a touch of surrealism in moving the way the last minute to play out the credits to offset the traditional values of production. It's simple and unchallenging, and probably the best film: Clockwise ever made has been done. High praise indeed for something as large.

Alison Steadman plays the sassy schoolgirl who is doing everything it can to help achieve this obsession director, tearing him from his unit for the peak of orthodoxy and respectability than their respectable means to achieve this goal. The tension between the comic does not seem a few hilarious pastiche of sexual tension in most situations + hero heroin. A very underrated comedy details the collapse of a stern disciplinary director during a chaotic trip to give a speech at a convention of educators snob. Cleese began in a very narrow and it is watchable and enjoyable as it gradually descends into anarchic discouragement. The pathos as finally delivered his speech in a poorly fitting (stolen) tasteless set, surrounded by the detritus of his terrible day, it is really moving and funny.
