| This is a terrible movie. Why not think that ever do this? He was one of the worst movies I've seen, except for the occasional exception. There are only a couple of scenes in the Cloverfield Thriller comedy, for example, the underground music scene - the homeless man on fire, they pull the girl out of the spike in the hotel - although this is not meant to be funny. :-( While watching this does not feel bad, but I was upset, mainly, the DivX Movie Cloverfield was a very bad idea because of time to adjust to it. The time needed to adjust was about 1 / 6 of the whole film: Cloverfield because it is a short film. Most people agree. An alternative would be to end a much better way to end it, for example, instead of blowing them (not nuking because then the tape has not been found, it could have done to end the girl become infected by infection and then leave it explode by itself. This, in my opinion, would have done the whole Cloverfield movie seems much better, and not a big waste of time. This is not worth the money I paid to see this movie. |
| This Cloverfield Thriller was an absolute disappointment, like most home movies "that I get bored, restless and grateful when it was over. This DVD film Cloverfield is just a poor Blair Witch with a bigger budget and none of the factors of tension or fear. It is much more hyped because of its relationship with JJ Abrams. It was a unique idea to get some background on the characters, showing pieces of video previously recorded on the tape was over. However, it does not work, and therefore, does not mean that I could careless if any of the characters lived or died. The big 'monster' was not afraid at all and for me, the smaller creatures were more afraid of an appeal, but in the end not on the movie. Because the boredom induced this DivX Movie Cloverfield I could not avoid the question, but the idea that someone would choose to document the situation of the characters are in keeping the camera running while trying to escape from disaster. I imagine that Most people just put the camera and focus on get the hell out of there. The only saving grace of the idea that is part of a "home movie" means that the Cloverfield Thriller was the same length of a real DV tape. |
| I think it's further proof (like we needed after the example of Matthew Broderick), a large budget Kaiju + = bad movie. The monster was ridiculous looking less threatening and Jet Jaguar. One of the great strengths of the genre is that the films have a message, it was only a group of preteens running with a camera, being evaluated are silly. Well, that is painfully slow start does come into it, well, let's say that I am happy that the phone rang right as I started to see the film. A bit like having to suffer through an episode of "Friends" for your girlfriend lets you watch a Cloverfield movie monster. Yes, the characters are all "Friends" clones. So do not expect anything from them intelligently. Even taking into account all the other stupid things they did. I mean, really, even if you accept its premises, why is that even after being attacked and running through a military field hospital, nobody would have thought, at least, to grab a gun to defend themselves from smaller than that are going to explode? | First, "Cloverfield" is probably the last title I'd like to imagine a horror / sci-fi movie. But apart from the fact that it is, there are two things that I find very impressive about the film. The main point, of course, is that it is shot with a handheld camera and contains a cast of strangers in order to create very realistic sense. But they also say that follows the same structure as the Alfred Hitchcock DivX film Cloverfield "The Birds." You see, during the first fifteen minutes, as if both films are going to be romantic comedies. But then comes the terrible element and dominates the rest of the film. And both films have the same kind of ending (although different things happen). Anyway, this is more than a monster movie. I totally recommend it. |
| i had high expectations for the trailers and all the hypes on the Internet, so when I saw the screen the DVD film Cloverfield here in SF at 12:01 on Thursday night, I could not resist. Part of my disappointment is perhaps because I had such high expectations. to say much about the Cloverfield Thriller film would completely destroy the rest that we really want to see, but in the end was "Blair Witch" meets "Godzilla." not surprising at all. the story was pretty poorly written, with the key players sticking to a random encounter to another and somehow I could not sit with the actors at all. whereas Blair Witch seems logical, or at least reasonable that children actually filmed the whole affair, it seems simply silly in this film. I also do not like the principle that all players were presented to show in a farewell party for one of his friends. it was just boring. then the DivX Movie Cloverfield is, while I give some credit for starting the action, after a while I wait for the (very poor) ending. not what I expected. |
| First, many people bash is for his DVD film Cloverfield "cheap" filmmaking and acting. Entry into it, I honestly did not have high expectations. But I must say that this is easily one of the most successful films I've seen this year. The camera work was a sense of immediacy and suspense that was not present at the Project of the Blair Witch, this DVD movie Cloverfield is often compared with, and the characters seem real and very easy to identify with. Recognize that I am not a fan of Abrams, but this is a cut above their regular work. The special effects are excellent, the characters are very credible (although several disappointing Cheezy lines), and the experience was totally exciting. With Juno, the Coen brothers, and Jesse James, this was a great year for cinema, but I definitely think Cloverfield is a Cloverfield movie that should not be overlooked. |
