| Someone commented that it is an urban legend of a place different from Texas. This is a good DivX film Fingerprints based on the urban legend of a small town in Texas. If, in fact, in 1957 a bus load of children are in fact died in a train accident when the railroad crossing signals not opperate. All children were killed. The Fingerprints Horror film focuses on a fictional Texas town of Emerald. However, the true legend comes from a small village near San Antonio Texas. The Fingerprints Horror movie was filmed in Oklahoma City and Gutherie and Texas. The high school scenes were in the historical building of Harding High School in Oklahoma City. The scenes of the old houses were filmed in the Heritage Hills neighborhood of Oklahoma City |
| ... What a treat this has it all! A good mystery, a great ghost story, a sample of the Slasher genre, some deadpan humor .... pull together and get a cross between "Shout" and "Ghost Story" ... a good return to the '70s and 80s classic horror genre. I enjoyed every minute of this roller coaster. Good Fingerprints Horror film quality, good camera work, remarkable special effects to the budget, decent ... and acting even Lou Diamond Phillips. What more can you ask for? Pity no mother "offed" while his mom ... Dear personality certainly justifies it. Great effort by the director and cast. I give 8 stars. |
