| Pure joy for lovers of old sea adventure and entertaining, if stereotypical, PEG-legged, eye patched pirates shouting "dec", this movie: Cutthroat Island is not intended to be nothing more than what it is - fun based on popular legends and beliefs scene in the pirate. And so much the better! Non-stop action, fantastic score, breathtaking landscapes and objects, adequately fun script, and yes, even acting well (to my surprise, Geena Davis actually managed to deliver a good performance). Frank Langella is nearly as good as a pirate Walter Matthau in Roman Polanski also underrated pirate classic. Hearing various bad comments about the film, I had low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised to discover that the bad reviews and comments were simply unfair. Apparently, the critics these days take place in "their" opinions rather than see the movie, and people are looking for violence and blood of "Mortal Kombat" type of entertainment rather than simply unrealistic if movies like " Cutthroat Island "(actually, the Cutthroat Island Romance seems to have been investigated very well - is the first time I've seen Hollywood use actual" squad "wine bottles in a pirate Cutthroat Island Romance instead of a more modern!) |
| Despite being fun to watch and very entertaining, this is not a DVD movie Cutthroat Island that draws me back to many displays. Perhaps it is too absurd: a beautiful woman pirate "Morgan Adams (Geena Davis) punched everyone at any time can get a ridiculous and boring after a while. Only an excess of everything, almost like cartoons. If you have not taken sufficient action in the first hour (and does), the latter half is really crazy with a never-ending battle scene that goes on and on and on. However, there are some good things to see here, in addition to Davis and her pretty face. the DVD movie Cutthroat Island was filmed in Malta and Thailand and some characteristics of the photograph beautiful island. The ship is magnificent, and when two vessels are side by side firing cannons in another, is an impressive sight and sound even more impressive. I wonder how can a critic say this DivX Movie Cutthroat Island is bad when there are so many bad films released today, this movie: Cutthroat Island stands out as a really good. Modine is also very sexy, and Davies gives a sympathetic performance. What I'm really interested in a pirate DivX Movie Cutthroat Island with homosexuals (not stereotyped) pirates, because according to scientists as Richard Burg most pirates were gay. A good sequel to the DVD movie Cutthroat Island with Davis and Modine would be a good thing to do. |
| This DVD film Cutthroat Island was responsible for the bankruptcy of the company behind it, Carolco. That is a shame, but the Cutthroat Island movie is not as bad as it is rumored. Far from it. It is above average oldfashioned entertainment. The soundtrack is just one standout. Sweeping and powerful, which serves as the plot and is a joy to listen on their own. Although the characters are not among the most complex and well defined in the history of cinema, the work (with a few exceptions, including Maury Chaykin as John Reed, acting just does not match the tone of the film). Then there is the beautifully reconstructed pirate ships, well choreographed action sequences and amazing special effects. Ultimately this is a Cutthroat Island movie that has a representative and it is really unfair worth your time.
