On DVD Today

A Fairly good day for DVDs. First we have the surprise indie hit,The Wackness,with Josh Peck,Olivia Thirlby,and Ben Kingsley. I was very surprised by the movie. I'm begnning to really like Olivia Thirlby,who also appeared in Snow Angels this year,and in Juno last year. And Josh peck was surprisingly tolerant.If you haven't seen this movie,I highly reccomend renting it,because it's not for everyone. I'm not belittling anyone who hated it;I can see why they might,it can get annoying. But I loved it. Perfect time setting,perfect time limit,and even perfect performances.

Next we have Pineapple Express. I'll admit it's a minor work from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg,but I had a really good time with the movie. It had a lot of funny characters,and funny moments,especialy by James Franco,who deserved his Golden Globe nomination just for that. But if you want a good time and nothing else,check it out.
