The Outsourced Comedy movie won warm applause after its heavy influence in the International Film Festival in Dubai last night: the audience, a mix of Europeans, Middle Easterns, and the Indians, the shower and the director and lead author of the actress questions after the show. I admired the end (spoiler ahead): hit the "bindi" on the front of the George Washington - a subtle invitation to a critical eye on what drives the work (and inevitably life) that the DVD movie Outsourced is not designed to cope with head still ilustrada all: after all, put the missing piece is no stranger to Seattle. When the director talks about the DVD movie Outsourced during the session of questions and answers that followed the 2006 projection in the International Film Festival in Toronto, said that when the tone of this DivX film Outsourced script, I loved the script, but would not have the risk of letting him be the director because he is lacking. Big mistake! A small study took the risk and the result is a Outsourced Comedy film that is way more fun than anything that Hollywood has beaten in the last year. Not only that, but has the craft and slickness of "A" Hollywood movie. The DVD film Outsourced begins with an American company taking the decision to outsource to India on employment of persons engaged in the sales of the client. Only one of the sales managers avoid the ax, if he would agree to go to India to train their replacements. A hilarious clash of cultures occurs as the American interacts in India. In my selection of the audience laughed at everything and gave a big hand in the credits.

I had an absolute blast watching this Outsourced movie today. It's funny, moving and above all sincere. It would have been very easy for filmmakers to avoid stereotypes, while writing and shooting this film, but ably steered clear of any pitfalls that plague so many movies out, especially in this genre. I have the opportunity to see this Outsourced Comedy film in a special screening at the UW in Seattle today and participate in a Q & A session with the writers (and director) and John George, Ayesha, who plays Asha, and some of the producers. John, the director and co-writer, mentioned that he had spent considerable time in Nepal and India during his student years. And while the story itself is a fiction, the cultural crisis and experiences through Todd were largely based on the experience of John during his time abroad. This seems to have done a very honest about the nuances of this story. Fortunately, the Outsourced Comedy not only focuses on Todd's shock to reach a new culture. The local population that deals with Todd on a daily basis also have to adapt to American Todd's way of running a call center. This makes it a balanced talk about a story about cultural differences and, perhaps more importantly, the similarities. It may not be a successful pioneer of any film, but the sincerity seems to be coming straight from the heart. And that is something we rarely see in movies today. This Outsourced movie deserves all the attention it receives. So go see! And if you like, tell your friends.
