Marti DeBergi is a film-maker who decides to make a documentary, a rockumentary actually, about the world's loudest band, the British heavy metal group Spinal Tap. The movie is in fact a biting satire and spoof of the whole rock and roll scene that passes itself off as a real documentary of a real band. Hilarious behind-the-scenes footage is combined with faux-concert clips to breath life into the imaginary group.

Spinal Tap is an excellent film. Perhaps the greatest mockumentary / 'Rockumental. We follow a filmmaker Marty DiBergi (Rob Reiner), who is making a documentary about the world's highest band Spinal Tap. In spite of all this is true what they really seem real. The whole band is especially fun Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), with all its establishment to 11 amps. It is well written by most of those issued and Reiner himself. Only the second This Is Spinal Tap movie by Rob Reiner that I saw I liked, and we hope to see more of his work. In addition there are cameos from different DivX film This Is Spinal Tap types people.This totally takes you through the life of a rock and roll is a must see for all. This DVD is fairly cheap so if you have extra money, do not hesitate to buy it. You will not be disappointed.

A funny little movie, subtle and intimate. However, after being informed about how good this This Is Spinal Tap Comedy was to let my ears, having seen many times referred to, and having observed the Spinal Tap-episode of the Simpsons, which provides a kind of legend comedy, one of the funniest movies in the history of the making of the film, but the combination proved too big for the movie. Ideally, we've seen in 15, an age when the rock 'n' roll is still really important, and when he left in 1984, at a time when rock bands tediously pompous spandex still in fashion and hip hop and alternative "music still in the offing. Displaying two decades too late makes it appear a little dated, and the jokes are not so hard either.
