| I have not laughed this hard in a Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story Comedy in years. That's all I can say about this movie. It is stupid, sure, but it's so fun, you do not mind. I could not stop laughing. There are so many jokes in this film, do not even have a chance to rest before the next is coming along. Ben Stiller as "evil" White Goodman - is a classic character who should go down in the annals of comedy greatness. Broadcasters ESPN 8 "The Ocho" (Gary Cole and Jason Bateman) has me rolling in the aisles. Stephen Root is a genius and funny, and Alan Tudyk as the random pirate (why? Who cares!) Was pure gold. Oh, and make sure you stay until the end of the credits ... Ben Stiller makes a routine that is absolutely hysterical. |
| "Dodgeball ..." Another entry in an endless supply of movies that many of the current "funny men" (ie, Ben Stiller, the brothers Wilson, Vince Vaughn and Will Farrell, etc.), all appear in the movies of others. While we applaud their efforts and dedication to others, sometimes brings lame product, which would otherwise not be possible if the players are not mentioned in them. "Dodgeball" has some amusing moments, and if predictable performances charm Stiller and Vaughn. But not really enough to justify a Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story movie that is barely 90 minutes long. Some nice cameos throughout, but Gary Cole and Jason Bateman are simply not funny here. 4 out of 10 |
| When the average Joe gym, run by Peter La Fleur (Vince Vaughn) is under threat by taking white Goodman (Ben Stiller), La Fleur and his gym members must raise $ 50,000 to save it. The only way is Dodge Ball, and with the help of a professional, maybe they have a chance. Great characters and a hilarious script that dodge ball coup, Ben Stiller and Rip Torn characters are particularly well written, but none of the characters do not get a laugh, and there is a good mix of them on show. Definitely worth a look for anyone who fancies a laugh. Not a classic but it's entertaining style with their antics. 7 / 10 |
| Destined to become a cult classic. This DivX Movie Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story is a true underdog story with outstanding performances by Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn (believe it or not). David Hsselhoff surprise cameos, Chuck Norris and Lance Armstrong give the impression that the director wanted us to throw everything including the kitchen sink, but somehow it all works. This Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story Comedy film is fun for all ages. I am in my 40 years and love my pre-teen and teen love this DVD film Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story too. This is probably a Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story film guys, if you get the Stooges definitely love this movie. Howvever, I caught my wife laughing at most of the jokes. While most of the humor is crude and in your face in some jokes fly under the radar and only seen in a second, third or fourth viewing. |
