Here are my reactions to the Golden Globe winners:

It earned it,but I thought Synecdoche New York,should've at least been nominated.

Best Supporting Actress
Kate Winslet-The Reader

Who I thought was going to win:
Penelope Cruz

Who should've won:Penelope Cruz

Kudos to Kate,but where's the love for Cruz,or Davis?

Best Supporting Actor
Heath Ledger-The Dark Knight

Who I thought was going to win:Heath Ledger

Who should've won:You're joking,right? (pun intended)

The rest just seemed obsolete.

Best Actress:Drama
Kate Winslet-Revolutionary Road

Who I thought was going to win:Meryl Streep-Doubt

Who Should've Won:Anne Hathaway-Rachel Getting Married

The beginning of the end,I'm sad to say. Oscar is probably going to go to her,instead of someone who gave a great performance,like Streep,Hathaway,Melissa Leo,etc. Not that Winslet is a bad actress.

Mickey Rourke-The Wrestler

Who I thought was going to win:Mickey Rourke-The Wrestler

Who should've won:Mickey Rourke-The Wrestler (a.k.a. it was perfect)

Four of them gave fantastic performances (Rourke,Pitt,Langella,and Penn,notice who's missing?) but the best was just Mickey Rourke. If it wasn't going to be him,I'm pretty sure it would've been Sean Penn.

Sally Hawkins-Happy-Go-Lucky

Who I thought was going to win:Sally Hawkins-Happy-Go-Lucky

Who Should've Won:Sally Hawkins

Hawkins,Streep,and Hall were the only ones who were worthy of a win. And McDormand should've been nominated for Miss Petigrew,am I wrong here?

Collin Farrel-In Bruges

Who I thought was going to win:Javier Bardem-Vicky Cristina Barcelona

Who should've won:Javier Bardem or Dustin Hoffman

Are you serious? Farrell over Bardem or Hoffman,is a travesty.

Best Screenplay
Simon Beaufy-Slumdog Millionaire

Who I thought was going to win:Slumdog Millionaire

Who should've won:The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

No surprises here,really. I'm very proud of Slumdog,but I personally thought Benjamin Button was better.

Best Director
Danny Boyle-Slumdog Millionaire

Who I thought was going to win:David Fincher

Who should've won:David Fincher

Again,no surprises.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona

What I thought was going to win:Vicky Cristina Barcelona

What should've won:Vicky Cristina Barcelona

I'm glad VCB won something. With it losing it's acting awards,got me scared.

What I thought was going to win:Benjamin Button

What should've won:The Curious case of Benjamin Button

No surprises here really. I really thought Button could've pulled it off.

Initial Thoughts of the Event:

It was a pretty good ceremony (hell of a lot better than last year's). The best moment was when 30 Rock won,and Tracy Morgan,accepted it. That was hilarious! It didn't quite turn out the way I planned (only guessing 5 correct ones) but that's life. It was fun,some of my favorites won.
