| I'm not a big horror DivX Movie Slither fan, but I did enjoy very Shawn of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead. I checked when this was nothing more and was pleasantly surprised. The performance is quite good and the images (makeup / effects) impressive. The story, well written and well thought out, even has heart. And although I would not call this film: Slither a comedy, certainly has some great lines and funny characters. Also a plus for me, although graphic kill scenes are not gory painful in a way that I turn away. Instead I was intrigued by the art and imagination of the artists behind them. B picture together very well worth seeing. |
| (Summary) The DVD movie Slither opens with a meteorite landing in the Charter of the small town of Wheelsy. The bad news is that our atmosphere not to burn everything inside the meteorite. One of Wheelsy wealthy businessmen, Grant Grant (Michael Rooker), who is married to the beautiful young biology teacher in high school, Starla (Elizabeth Banks), is a slow movement slimy thing behind the bar in the city . The slug stops moving as it moves closer to Grant, who is infected by the slugs. Grant begins to change and become a bloody carnivorous squid creature with the need to kill to maintain his life. Sheriff Bill Pardy (Nathan Fillion) and Starla must defeat this creature, or the whole earth will be consumed. (My comment) Slither 1950 is a type of category B horror / comedy Slither Horror film scene that has it all. A billion years to penetrate foreign parasite outer space with tentacles that sucks the life of you, fast moving slugs who want to venture into the mouth, dogs and cows that eat humans and zombies deer, a great mother of the globalization, and the small town is terrorized by a monster. This is your classic B-movie series is great fun watching. You will laugh from beginning to end. For reasons of budget, it seems that they used the old standby, ketchup, blood. There are some scary moments, but most of the scenes are hilarious. If you want to enjoy a night and a good laugh, this is the DivX film Slither to see. | There must be hundreds of excellent movies being made worldwide each year, but this is absolute rubbish and is distributed in the UK. For some unknown reason the British press seems to be giving this stinker good reviews, so I decided to go and see it in the first place. The Slither Horror movie is obviously trying to be a tongue in cheek, but unfortunately all that is Charmless is a piece of garbage. The script tries to throw a fun along the way, each of which fell flat on his face. Saturday all public around without so much as a wave of fun and we feel that we had lost our money and our time to go see this. Okay, I admit that I probably would have enjoyed the special effects when he was 13, but now I feel insulted as the scum that are offered as entertainment. It really is time for a little more worthy of films began to be shown on British cinema, unfortunately, having seen the trailers of upcoming releases, I fear this is not .... Our government is always banging on about the evils of eating junk food - that perhaps I should start looking at the diet of the garbage being fed to the nation's mind - and believe me - do not come from any security or trashier than this! |
| It's absolutely fun, easy and simple. Is put in, does it scares and laughs, and goes fast. As it should be, is absolutely brilliant. Which makes its own thing, and you do well, and the result is pure entertainment, nothing more. Therefore, if you like movies like Shaun of the Dead, Army of Darkness, Dead Alive, Gremlins, tremors, or anything in that sense, you will like this movie. Or if you just want to see Captain Mal Reynolds (Nathan Fillion) again on the big screen with nostalgia and wipe a tear or two away, you can go see this Slither Horror film too. It is rare, is cheerfully gross, it's hilarious, and I do not think they wasted a single minute watching. Great movie. |
